Merry Christmas

I wanted to put an exclamation marker on the title but the stupid cat spilt water on the keyboard and now that button doesn't work...
Christmas was really fun, Ashton obviously had no idea what was going on, but he humored us anyway. We spent Christmas eve at my parents house, all of my siblings were there along with some cousins. Ashton was quite the ham, smiling when needed in front of the right people.
We spent Christmas morning at home and opened our gifts. I got Blair a Silver bracelet from Pittsburgh and I got a very nice assortment of clothes and Grandma Dicey got us a surround sound system. We had lunch with our very nice neighbors the Johnson's. They have five extremely funny kids that always make you smile. The rest of the day was spent with some needed R&R.
Being home from Pittsburgh has been very nice, no manual labor and no wet concrete in sight.

Ashton's just a growing like crazy. He had a bout with jaundice and k.o'd that schtuff! It was funny to see him be a glow worm but it was a huge inconvenience. We are busily trying to figure out the next step with work and such. But thats the boring stuff. Ashton had a fun visit today from his cousin Taylor. It's really cool to see an 8 month old excited to see another baby.

Home again

Today is our first Sunday home from the hospital. Ashton Blayne was born Tuesday July 29th at 11:11 pm. It was quite the ordeal, but Blair did great and only had to push 11 times! Guess he wanted out! We had to stay in the hospital 48 hours then we were home on Thursday. So far he's been a pretty good sleeper and has given us one night of no sleep. I think he learned his lesson because the day after no sleep we took him to get circumcised, he promised to sleep better if we promised not to do that again. We are so happy to have him here and love being with him. He gave Blair a smile this morning and made her day.
